As an HCPC-registered and BAAT-accredited Art Therapist, I provide a safe and nurturing space for expression and healing. Discover how art psychotherapy can help your child unlock their potential and navigate life’s challenges.
Our art therapy services
I offer tailored art therapy services designed to support children and young people experiencing emotional, social, or behavioural challenges. My approach focuses on creating a safe and understanding environment where they can express themselves and work through difficult emotions.
Individual therapy
One-on-one art therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. These sessions provide a dedicated space for personal exploration and healing.
Group therapy
Group sessions that encourage social interaction, shared expression, and peer support. These sessions are ideal for children who benefit from learning and growing together.
Specialist support
Specialised art therapy services for children with additional needs or neurodivergence, those affected by trauma, loss, or significant life changes, and those in care or living in vulnerable circumstances.
Who i help
I support children and young people who may be experiencing emotional, social, or behavioural challenges, or who find it difficult to express themselves with words alone. This includes those affected by trauma, loss, or significant life changes, children with additional needs or neurodivergence (such as autism), and those in care or living in vulnerable circumstances. Each child’s experience is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs, pace, and capacity for expression.
What makes creative minds art therapy different?
What makes my work different is the combination of deep professional experience and a genuinely human approach. With over two decades of working closely with children, I understand how creativity can become a bridge to expression, connection, and healing. I bring together my background as a teacher and art psychotherapist to recognise how children communicate and grow — both verbally and non-verbally. Each session is guided by empathy, attunement, and evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, allowing every child to feel seen, held, and understood within a safe, containing space.
